Fun With Politics
I had to go watch the presidential debates at the Herald News last week, and on Sunday the paper published columns from the Common Sense writers regarding the debates. Here's a link; mine is a little way down the page and titled "Kerry's Strengths Showcased." As usual, I did not write the headline, but this one makes sense. Hurray!

The title is a little naughty if you think about it, or perhaps I've been reading wonkette.com too much...either way, I'm glad to see that my and Janice's political wonkiness (I'm making up words a la Bush) wore off on you.

I liked the Common Sense/debate story, but I noticed that not only did most columnists "(pull) any punches," they also didn't have very strong opinions. I liked yours, though. And I got to see the black nails of which we spoke (oh, takes me back to high school).

That should have said, "Not only did the Common Sense columnists NOT '(pull) any punches' ..." D'oh! And your tag board is my nemesis. I cannot read the first two posts on your site, so I have to copy and paste them into Words. Damn you, tag board.
