Twice the Fun!

For some reason, the last update posted twice and I can't figure out how to fix it. Sorry about that! In other news, I have some updates from readers. . .


Reader Deb of Joliet informed that Sunday was the day to see Whiskey Tango at Silver Cross Field. Apparently that particular game attracted many a tail-wearer, including one man wearing a "Wilmington Helmet Roast" tee. . .
Readers Wendy of Joliet and Tim of Plainfield have "spotted" some interesting goings on at the local Spot Not. They recently saw quite the car show at Spot Not, including one car that was up on two wheels driving around a row of other cars. Subsequent cruises past Spot Not have led to the viewing of a PT Cruiser on hydraulics. . .by the way, why do so many people hang out in grocery store parking lots on Jefferson? It can only lead to danger, as it did a couple years ago when Melissa, Shannon, and I drove into the Dominick's parking lot and ended up in a car chase near Thomas Jefferson Elementary accompanied by techno music. . .Reader Melanie of Joliet (Deb's daughter) took a road trip to Pennsylvania last weekend and, among other things, went to a graduation party in the woods with guests including a fellow named Boomer. . and finally, a celebrity sighting! Reader Regina of NYC saw Matthew Perry outside a hot dog stand in Manhattan.
